Tema Honours Awards 2025
Celebrating Community Excellence
The Tema Honours Awards 2025 was a memorable evening that brought together over 400 community members to celebrate the everyday heroes of Tema. Eight award categories recognised outstanding contributions in education, health, community service, youth leadership, arts and culture, environmental stewardship, business for good, and lifetime achievement.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Madam Esther Adjei, a retired nurse who has provided free health screenings in her community for over 25 years. The Youth Leadership award went to 19-year-old Michael Tetteh, who founded a community library in Tema New Town.
We thank all nominees, sponsors, and attendees for making the night a resounding success. Nominations for the 2026 awards will open in September.
